Chevrolet Trax was recently showcased at GIIAS 2015 and it managed to grab a lot of attention from the visitors. Trax is a five-seater crossover that offers street-smart features and technologies. This car provides elevated visibility of a small SUV along with parking ease of a compact car.
Beneath the hood, it is powerde by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 140 PS at 4900 to 6000 rpm along with a peak torque of 200 Nm at 1850 to 4900 rpm. Further, this engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic CVT transmission.
Towards the exterior, automaker has used athletic design cues.
The front fascia featues a signature Chevrolet dual-port grille and bowtie badge along with swept-back headlamps. Below these headlamps, one can find fog lamps as well. The side profile is further adorned by body coloured wing mirrors and door handles which create a harmony. The exterior body colours are still not disclosed but may be available in nine shades namely Switchblade Silver Metallic, Snowflake White Pearl, Carbon Flash Metallic, Blaze Red, Summit White, Velvet Red Metallic, Deep Espresso Brown Metallic, Boracay Blue metallic, and Orange Rock.
Its beautifully appointed interior features standard leather seating surfaces.
Moreover, these seats are 6-way adjustable for driver and 4-way adjustable for other passengers along with memory function.The fold-flat front passenger seat and 60:40 split-folding rear seats allow you to carry items up to 8 feet long. Its three-spoke steering wheel has also got a leather trim along with audio and cruise controls embossed on it. Further, the ergonomic design of its instrument panel puts a variety of technologies and features right at your fingertips.

Since this drive is a crossover allowing it to be an off-roader, you can expect a lot of safety and security aspects from this big Chevrolet baby. You get dual airbags at least in this family drive to resist against any energy impact. Also, you can find ISOFIX child attachment for the protection of the infant riders. StabiliTrak electronic stability control system along with four-wheel Anti-lock Braking System are also plotted in this Chevrolet drive for stability and complete control.
